When you buy a bundle or get a duplicate of any bot or C.O.M.B.A.T. bot you will receive Character Shards. These are individual to each bot and can be exchanged in the shop or team menu for a guaranteed 2, 3, or 4-Star version of that bot.

To unlock a 4-Star bot, you will need 7,500 Character Shards, 1,500 for a 3-Star bot, and 100 for a 2-Star bot. Additionally, with Class Shards, you can use Character Shards for Ranks.
