Alongside HQ 17, came a brand new game mode. This is a single Player PVP mode, accessible from the Battle button. On Thursday 26th of May, the game mode was altered to be active all week instead of certain days of the week.
In this new game mode, you can spend Fuel Cells to battle other players and obtain Z-Energon and increased XP. You can use each of your bots just once (regardless of whether you win or lose) so be careful when selecting your winning squad! Every week your bots will reset so they can be used again for another attempt. This is to encourage players to use a wide variety of bots (and you can also use your alt faction Bots). Do note, that Bots on cooldown for Elimination Mode can be used in other game modes.
You won't be able to farm Z-Energon any other way, and you will be unable to farm this from other players. Once you've made your Z-Energon it won't be stolen from you.
