Bot Variants
There are 5 classes in Transformers Earth Wars. Recognizing the class of a bot is also important to the types of abilities that it has, and the types of Power Cores that can be added to the bot.
While any bot can be equipped with a universal Power Core, only Air-classed bots can use an Air Power Core for example. Special bots do not have a dedicated class of Power Cores but are more likely to have individualized G1 Power Cores that are exclusive to the individual bot.

| Medic | Heals and supports other bots in battle. | |
| Triple Changer | Triple Changers come with two special abilities making them highly versatile in battle. Uncover their secrets! - This is the only Bot class with 2 abilities in one! | |
| Warrior | Armoured front line fighter. Rush into enemy defences to open up the attack and protect other bots. |
The following classes were retired in April 2016 (before the official global launch) and replaced with the "Special" class:
- Deployer
- Leader
- Scout
