Brainstorm possesses one of the most brilliant and questing scientific minds on Cybertron, and is literally brimming over with new and innovative ideas, to the point where he's often devising three different things at once, and sometimes neglects to finish what he's started.
Though he fervently wishes his inventions and advances didn't have to have a military application, he understands the need to defeat the Decepticons at all costs. He's armed with two high-powered photon pulse cannons that turn light into explosive energy and transforms into a Cybertronian jet with a maximum speed of 5200 mph. He throws meta-fictional grenades. And he often carries a time-travel briefcase.

Guyhawk is a 'bot of principles. In that he loathes anyone with them, which of course includes all the Autobots and even some of his fellow Decepticons.
Cold, somber and generally hard to get along with, Guyhawk used to be a mercenary for hire, and that pretty much still sums him up. Though pledged to the Decepticon cause, all he really only cares about is me, myself and I.
Boastful, the opposite of magnanimous in defeat and always ready to blame someone else if he is defeated, Guyhawk has few friends and cares not a jot. In jet mode, he can unleash a hellish storm of laser fire and in robot mode he fires super-cooled plasma the form of 'ice-needles'
